Here are a few pics from Easter weekend. I will have to post more later, but here is one of my favorite Easter basket goodie that the Easter bunny brought Graycie. A paint your own rubber ducky, she loved it and we had fun painting it. Also here are a few of her Easter dress. She wasn't interested in looking at the camera and saying cheese, but isn't she beautiful, I just love her to pieces.
On Saturday we woke up bright and early and started out on a fun day of adventure. I dressed Graycie in her special Valentine's Day tutu and shirt. We went and played with our friends for a bit, then we headed out for a day of shopping and hanging out. We ended the evening at the Magic Time Machine for dinner. The Magic Time Machine is sooo cool, it has been around forever, and it is decorated in random themes and old vintage decorations, there are lots of cove type tables and each one has a differnet theme, like Valentine's, Mickey Mouse, lots of characters and places, etc. There is even a table set up in a school bus inside. They have a salad bar set up in an old car, with yummy homemade cheese crackers. Graycie got a cool Fruit Punch drink that bubbled while she drank it (thanks to dry ice, lol) She said wow, bubbles. After we ate dinner, we had yummy brownie sunday and ice cream dessert. Graycie had been asking for ice cream all day, bc she remembered the last time we went to our friends it was for a Birthday Party and we had ice cream, lol. On Sunday she and I made sugar cookies and decorated them with icing and sprinkles. We also made some cutie Valentine Crafts, she had such a good time. Here are some pics from the weekend.
I am about a month late posting these pics, but here are some pics from Graycie's 2nd Birthday Party. We all had such a good time at the party, and Graycie's was so excited to be celebrating her very own Birthday!! She is such a mess, and we love her sooo much. She is so fun to be around and loves being my little helper. Her party was pink and brown themed, planned to match her cutie little outfit from Gymboree. Here are the highlights.
During the night Monday it iced, and we woke up Tuesday to ice and snow on the ground, and all the schools closed. They ended up being closed the whole week, and on Thursday night and Friday morning we got about 4-5 more inches of snow. We have had fun chilling out and having fun all week, and today we enjoyed going outside and playing in the snow and making a snowman. This was Graycie's first snow where she was big enough to actually enjoy it. Here are some pics of her enjoying it, and our snowman.
We took Graycie to the galleria in Dallas to see santa this past weekend. She was very excited and kept saying santa. When we asked if she was going to take her picture with him she said "cheese". She did really good and sat in his lap, she made a bunch of faces, includes and open mouthed smile, but she was a teeny bit scared, so the picture below was the best we could do. Still very cute!! The santa even had a real beard and looked very authentic.
Things have been crazy busy here with fall activities, and work. Graycie is growing so fast, and learning so much. Everyday on the way home she points out the moon, airplanes, trucks, and all kinds of other things that she sees. She can count, however she only does it on her own, and not when she is being coached. She amazes us everyday with all the things she is learning. She has been having a blast going to the pumpkin patch, going on pony rides, and to the park, and is loving her new baby cousin Abby. Here are a few pics from the past month.
Gosh, I keep wondering to myself where of where have we been. It has been busy around here, just with normal life and work and everything. I can't believe how long its been since I blogged. We have been doing lots of fun things with Graycie, she just soaks it all in and has such a good time.
Here are some pics from when we went strawberry picking with Gramma.
Graycie loves strawberries, and could eat them everyday. she loved eating them right off the vine, and could pick them all by herself. She even knew all by herself which ones were ready and good to eat, so smart!!
As I was picking them, she loved running her fingers through the box, it was just so cool to have so many strawberries in one place.
Here she is smiling at the guy when we took them to weigh them when we were done. She was covered in strawberry juice.
We had a tea party in Gramma's backyard.
We have been playing in the park.
We have been being silly and laughing and giggling.
And we have been playing in the pool.
Graycie loves to read books, we read and read and read. She is learning new words all the time, and lately loves to point at all the clocks and cars and lights. She loves playing with her dolls and stuffed animals. She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Wonderpets. We have so much fun with her.
